Have had a bit of a cold the past few days so not much done.
Today rained so did some maintenance on my mower.
Cooked a curry using up some of the last chicken stock I made. Have to make some more soon.
I also tried some of my pickled walnuts. Interesting. Tasted mostly of cloves and vinegar with texture, id est the walnut contributed crunchiness and zero flavour. I don't think I could eat a plateful at one sitting but one or two with some strong cheese would be fine. Of course Hungary is the land of not very strong cheese at all so I may have to wait a bit on that one. Still, this was a test run and next year I'll convert the whole harvest into pickles!
