Well my plan worked, kind of. The bloody cats woke me up at 2am crying to get out! So I went out and open the door and, of course, they ran back up the ladder and hid.
Went back to bed but couldn't get back to sleep. Gonna be a bear with a sore head today, from lack of sleep.
Made some mushroom soup which was pretty tasty.
